Events
The library is much more than a place to borrow books – it is a space for encounters, creativity and cultural dialogue. Through literary evenings, book promotions, exhibitions, workshops, lectures and other cultural programs, the Public Institution "Branko Radičević" National Library actively contributes to the cultural life of Derventa.
In this section you can follow announcements of upcoming events, reports from events and activities in which the library is the organizer, co-organizer or participant. We believe that culture connects people, and each event is a new opportunity to socialize, exchange ideas and foster a love of books, art and knowledge.

Prkos - Fest
"Prkos - Fest" is a traditional city festival that has been organized by the National Library "Branko Radičević" and the Cultural Center of Derventa for many years. The festival is held on Trg oslobođenja, on the plateau between the Library and the Cultural Center, and for approximately one month each week one festival evening is dedicated to a rich cultural program. Visitors can expect orchestra concerts, theater performances, literary evenings and numerous other cultural events.
